Job summary

Beehive Industries is located in Blue Ash, Ohio, and is actively seeking a Senior Machinist to independently set up and operate CNC mills and multi-axis machines to manufacture precision components from billet and metal 3D printed materials. Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
• Experience with blueprint reading, GD&T, and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Experience machining complex components such as castings, forgings, or additive (3D printed) parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently setup and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipment.
• Develop and optimize machining fixtures for complex aerospace components.
• Support quoting of machining work for internal and external customers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed production records, setup sheets, and machining documentation.
• Ensure work area cleanliness and organization in alignment with 5S standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on shop equipment as needed.
• Identify EH&S hazards, risks, and controls within machine shop operations and ensure proper mitigation.
• Ensure full compliance with EHS, quality systems, and manufacturing standards.
• Select and allocate tooling for machining jobs and ensure readiness for production.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining and production issues.
