Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Security Solutions Architect for Financial Services to guide security, risk, and compliance initiatives with top customers. You will build executive relationships, develop security roadmaps, and drive secure cloud adoption for large financial institutions.

You will craft technical content, mentor teams, and lead security discussions across stakeholders, auditors, and policy owners, shaping end-to-end security solutions in a complex cloud

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security/tech domains (e.g., software, cloud, infra)
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent
• Experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences incl. C-level
• Developing security solutions and roadmaps for cloud transformations
• Communicating security concepts to executive audiences
• Distributed systems knowledge
• Automation & workflow management knowledge
• Strong presentations/whiteboarding with executives and IT leaders
• Architecting/migrating to cloud for customer requirements
• Experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, cryptography, system/network security
• Experience in application security architecture and security testing

Responsibilities

• Help customers address security, risk and compliance questions in Financial Services
• Participate in architecture discussions for risk and security concerns
• Educate auditors on third-party supplier arrangements and audits in scope
• Build executive relationships with CIO/CISO/CRO and policy owners
• Develop high-quality technical content (white papers, reference architectures) for secure cloud deployments
• Assess security knowledge across AWS teams and address gaps
