Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (PMTS) to lead the Agentforce Process Intelligence backend and data processing stacks.

You will own end-to-end architecture for backend services and full-stack components enabling enterprise customers to discover, simulate, and optimize business processes at scale. You will guide Java and Python-based services, drive multi-tenant designs, API strategy, security, and reliability, and mentor LMTS/SMTS engineers while collaborating with

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experience, with a track record shipping enterprise SaaS at scale.
Strong proficiency in Java and Python with production-level fluency.
Expertise in multi-tenant SaaS architectures and cloud platforms.
Experience designing REST APIs and API strategy for headless products.
Proven ability to lead architectural initiatives and mentor senior engineers.

Responsibilities

Drive architecture, design, and delivery of scalable backend services on Kubernetes.
Own the end-to-end backend/full-stack architecture for tenant isolation across services.
Lead API strategy, versioning, deprecation, and contract stewardship.
Architect data processing workflows and ETL pipelines feeding analytics.
Set SLOs/SLIs with cross-functional partners and drive incident response.
