Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (PMTS) to lead the Backend/Full‑Stack pillar within Agentforce Process Intelligence. You will architect large-scale backend services, own API strategy, and guide cross-team technical initiatives ensuring tenant isolation and high availability.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise SaaS at scale.
Strong proficiency in Java and Python, with production fluency across both.
Deep experience with multi-tenant SaaS, cloud platform engineering, and tenant-isolation patterns.

Responsibilities

Drive architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of secure, scalable backend services on Kubernetes with multi-AZ cloud architecture.
Own API strategy including design, versioning, deprecation, and developer experience for public/internal APIs.
Lead Python data processing services and ETL pipelines feeding large-scale ingestion/transformation workloads.
