Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer to lead enterprise QE tools strategy, onboarding, and governance. You will mentor QE teams, drive tool adoption across QA, engineering, DevOps, and architecture, and accelerate automated testing using ADO, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and AI-enabled platforms.

The role emphasizes senior technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and improving delivery quality and efficiency within Humana's healthcare tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field are required.
• 12+ years of QE, test management, automation, SDET, or software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience enabling enterprise testing and automation tools.
• Deep expertise with Azure DevOps, qTest, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience supporting tool integrations across test management, automation, requirements, release management, and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI, CT, and CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Humana's enterprise QE tools strategy and adoption plans.
• Provide technical leadership for tools including ADO, qTest, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and AI-enabled testing platforms.
• Lead onboarding, enablement, and training for QE teams.
• Drive tool integration, governance, and continuous improvement across QE ecosystems.
• Mentor QE and delivery teams on enterprise tools and automation capabilities.
