Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Automation Engineer to lead enterprise QE tools strategy and onboarding. You will drive tool standardization, governance, and adoption across QE, engineering, DevOps, and product teams to maximize automation value.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Tosca, Selenium and Playwright, plus a track record in mentoring engineers and guiding AI-enabled testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years in QE, test management, automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with cross-team influence.
• Expertise with enterprise QE tools such as ADO, qTest, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and CI/CD integrations.
• Experience onboarding and enabling teams on testing and automation toolsets.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing and modern QA governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise QE tools strategy, standards, and adoption plans.
• Lead onboarding and enablement programs for QE, development, and product teams.
• Drive tool standardization, integration patterns, and governance for testing platforms.
• Mentor QE engineers and delivery teams on automation capabilities and best practices.
• Evaluate AI-enabled testing solutions and guide adoption across Humana.
