Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a Principal Architect – Modern Work & Collaboration in Corona, CA to lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise collaboration solutions. You will work with the sales team on strategic opportunities and advise C-level executives on roadmaps and modernization initiatives.

The role requires deep Cisco Collaboration expertise, MS 365/Teams integration, and the ability to design end-to-end collaboration architectures. Travel 25–50% is expected.

Our client, a leading global IT solutions provider, is seeking an experienced PrincipalArchitect – Modern Work & Collaboration to lead the design and development of enterprise communications and collaboration solutions.

Are you a Cisco Collaboration expert who enjoys designing sophisticated solutions, advising enterprise clients and helping organizations modernize the way they communicate?In this senior-level position, you'll serve as the technical authority for Cisco Collaboration solutions, partner with sales teams on strategic opportunities and helpshape next-generation Modern Work offerings.

You'll work directly with enterprise customers and executive leadership while influencing technical strategy across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the architecture and development of enterprise collaboration solutions,including Cisco CUCM, Webex Calling, Webex Contact Center and collaboration devices.
• Partner with sales teams to design solutions, develop proposals and support complex pre-sales engagements.
• Lead technical sales enablement and go-to-market initiatives, developing positioning strategies, sales materials and new Cisco-led collaboration offerings.
• Advise enterprise clients and C-level executives on collaboration strategies, technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical advisory and architectural oversight for governance-related customer engagements, helping sales teams position collaboration solutions that align with business objectives.
• Design Cisco and Microsoft 365/Teams integration and coexistence solutions.
• Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, proofs of concept and solution assessments.
• Develop new collaboration service offerings, architecture standards and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Solution Architects and consulting teams.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise collaboration architecture, technical consulting or pre-sales.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Collaboration, including CUCM, Webex Calling, Webex Contact Center and collaboration devices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, including integration and coexistence with Cisco solutions.
• Experience designing and presenting complex enterprise communications solutions.
• Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to engage confidently with technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Experience developing technical proposals, solution architectures and Statements of Work.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel 25%–50%.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications

• Cisco Collaboration certifications, with CCNP or CCIE Collaboration preferred.
• Cisco Webex Calling or Webex Contact Center certifications.
• Microsoft Teams or Modern Work certifications preferred.
