Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Architect, MedTech Technology R&D PLM, to shape PLM architecture across R&D, with global scope. You will craft practical blueprints, reference patterns, and guidance for PLM and engineering systems while coordinating with regulatory, quality, and supply chain teams.

You will mentor teams, assess risks, dependencies, and debt, and drive architecture governance across multi‑region implementations. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 8+ years in solution/enterprise PLM architecture or related enterprise technology roles.
• Experience architecting enterprise PLM solutions, including Windchill.
• Understanding of PLM lifecycle processes and engineering-change-control.
• Experience designing integrations across complex enterprise landscapes.
• Ability to create practical architecture guidance for PLM environments.
• Experience identifying risks, dependencies, scalability, debt and compliance implications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide platform evolution, simplify the landscape, and increase reuse across teams.
