Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior enterprise architecture leader to drive CI/CD and DevSecOps initiatives across our software delivery platforms. You will shape target-state architectures, guide platform modernization, and collaborate with product/engineering leaders on technology roadmaps.

The role requires extensive hands-on leadership, mentoring of architects, and governance skills to ensure secure, scalable and resilient solutions in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of architecture experience in enterprise software delivery.
• 7+ years enabling CI/CD, DevOps platforms, or developer enablement.
• 5+ years implementing GitHub Enterprise, Harness, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Black Duck, or Artifactory.
• 3+ years with cloud-native platforms and IaC (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps).
• Visa sponsorship is not offered.
• Desired: 5+ years in highly regulated industries.
• Desired: 3+ years supporting Internal Developer Platforms and API management.

Job description

Lead architecture initiatives for Enterprise CI/CD capabilities spanning source code management, software composition analysis, code quality scanning, automated testing, artifact management, continuous integration, deployment automation, and infrastructure automation platforms
Define and evolve target-state architecture for modern software delivery toolchains including GitHub, Harness, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Black Duck, Artifactory, and related DevSecOps capabilities
Partner with product owners and engineering leaders to define technology roadmaps and architecture strategies
Improve developer productivity, software quality, delivery speed, and operational resilience
Establish enterprise architecture standards, design patterns, and governance processes
Ensure secure, scalable, resilient, and supportable platform solutions
Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor offerings
Guide strategic technology decisions and platform modernization initiatives
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams
Mentor architects and senior engineers, promoting architectural consistency, engineering excellence, and reuse

Requirements

• 7+ years of architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• 7+ years of architecture experience supporting enterprise software delivery platforms, CI/CD ecosystems, DevOps platforms, or developer enablement platforms
• 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions using GitHub Enterprise, Harness, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Black Duck, Artifactory, or equivalent software delivery platforms
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-native platforms and Infrastructure as Code technologies including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, or similar automation frameworks

• Desired: 5+ years of experience in highly regulated industries
• Desired: 3+ years of experience supporting Internal Developer Platforms, API management platforms, quality engineering, or test automation
• Experience leading large-scale Enterprise CI/CD transformation, platform modernization, or DevSecOps adoption initiatives
• Experience with software supply chain security capabilities
• Experience with API management and integration platforms, quality engineering and test automation, and infrastructure as code
• Industry certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, DevSecOps, architecture, or related technology disciplines
• Experience in large, complex, highly regulated organizations with risk management, governance, and compliance focus
