Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an senior architect/lead for defining and driving architecture across enterprise software products in cloud-native environments. You will lead design, development, integration, testing and deployment of scalable, secure solutions, while guiding teams and setting governance standards.

You will champion AI-enabled strategies, modern tooling, and modernization efforts across major cloud platforms, mentoring engineers and ensuring robust, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in an Architect/Principal Engineer/Technical Lead role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of software quality practices, testing methodologies, application security, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, influence decisions, and mentor engineers.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive modernization and technology strategy.
