Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define architectural visions for large-scale solutions across business, application, data, and technology domains. You will translate business needs into technical strategies, drive architecture governance, and guide cross-functional teams through complex program initiatives.

The role emphasizes non-functional requirements, security, and scalable design, with collaboration across vendors and stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in solution, application, data, or enterprise architecture.
Experience delivering large-scale, complex technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and system integration.
Experience defining target-state architectures, roadmaps, and technology strategies.
Expertise in security, scalability, performance, reliability, and other non-functional requirements.
Experience leading architecture reviews, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams.
Strong understanding of technology risk, compliance, and controls.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

Define architectural vision and architecture for large, complex solutions aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.

Evolve architecture designs based on emerging requirements and backlog priorities.
Lead development of flexible, modular high-level architectures.
Support strategic technology decisions and architecture governance.

Requirements

Experience designing and delivering large-scale, complex technology solutions

Expertise in security, scalability, performance, reliability, and other non-functional requirements
Experience leading architecture reviews, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Financial services or banking industry experience
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and release automation practices
Experience with enterprise architecture governance and standards
Expertise in API, microservices, event-driven, and distributed architectures
Knowledge of data management, metadata, and modern data platforms
Architecture certification (TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams
Strong understanding of technology risk, compliance, and controls
Experience driving technology modernization and transformation initiatives
Ability to work 1st shift in the United States of America
40 hours per week
