The role reports to the Global Practice Group Director, Healthcare, and collaborates with North America Practice Group Managers to advance the Behavioural Health practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post‑graduate qualification in an appropriate professional field.
• Registered Architect or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years in a discipline, including 10+ years in architecture consultancy with behavioural healthcare focus.
• Experience leading growth strategies and relationships at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business development strategy with Global Practice Group Director, Pursuit Directors, and NA Practice Group Managers to achieve growth.
• Communicate and deliver outward facing strategy across North America.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse senior team by recruiting, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
• Identify and target clients through service excellence to grow organic revenue.
• Develop business cases, fee strategies and risk assessments for go/no-go reviews with local managers.
• Build strong relationships and create successful teams.
• Develop enduring relationships with clients to understand business needs and improve retention and revenue.
• Collaborate with A&U leaders in NA and global Growth team to win new work.
• Drive strategy and content for external marketing communications and outreach.
• Increase awareness of Arcadis’s Behavioural Health practice regionally and nationally.
• Demonstrate leadership by participating in professional organizations and Arcadis values.
• Coach and mentor studio/service managers to ensure governance and client satisfaction.
• Mentor leaders across studios to create succession in key client relationships.
• Direct talent identification and development within the team for growth.
• Direct resource allocation to optimize the unit and maintain structure.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of clients and market trends.
• Develop cross-sell opportunities within Arcadis.
• Promote systems and processes for continuous improvement.
