Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Technology Consulting Principal/Applied AI Consultant to help clients turn AI ambition into real, adopted change. You will lead client engagements, map processes, and coach teams through change to embed AI into daily work.

Responsibilities include aligning stakeholders, assessing readiness, designing future workflows, and measuring outcomes. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of consulting or client-facing advisory experience
• Experience applying AI/ML or agentic AI to real business problems
• Strong working knowledge of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Hands-on experience mapping and redesigning business processes
• Proven track record leading organizational change and technology adoption
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication
• Ability to define, implement, and track performance metrics and KPIs
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and stakeholder alignment: primary business contact and trusted advisor for transformation goals, scope, and outcomes
• Assess current processes and AI readiness: map workflows, roles, data dependencies, and existing automation
• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities based on value and feasibility
• Translate business needs into AI use cases with requirements and success criteria
• Design future ways of working with architects and delivery teams to redesign workflows
• Drive education, adoption, and behavior change to embed AI into everyday work
• Measure adoption and business impact with baselines and KPIs
• Strengthen delivery and continuous improvement of Agile practices across teams
• Build and validate AI workflow prototypes using AI assistants and low-code tools
• Evaluate and refine AI performance and determine when human review is required
