Job summary

Storable is seeking a technical product manager to own the APIs and developer platform that connect its suite of self‑storage products. You will standardize the resource model, secure the MCP server, and define universal interface rules across products for reliability and scale.

You will work with Data & Analytics, AI Agents, and engineering to ensure authentication, permissions, versioning, and robust documentation while driving adoption of shared standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience owning APIs, a developer platform or integration products end to end.
• Experience delivering a single API layer across multiple products/backends.
• Strong understanding of how APIs scale: REST, event-driven design, idempotency, pagination and rate limiting.
• Deep knowledge of API security: OAuth and scoped permissions, tenant isolation, audit logging and least privilege.
• Hands-on experience building with MCP or LLM tool calling and awareness of agent risks (prompt injection, over-permissioned tools).
• A track record of adopting shared standards across teams you don’t manage.
• Excellent writing; clear product/technical docs that drive decisions and builds.
• Prototyping and testing integrations with modern AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the API layer that unifies all products into one platform and access path for tenants, units, leases and payments.
• Define the shared resource model with engineering and product teams; ensure consistent IDs and behavior.
• Own MCP server security: authentication, permissions, tenant isolation, auditing and safe access control.
• Set interface standards: errors, versioning, pagination, rate limits, docs, and deprecation.
