Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Engineer to lead design and implementation of antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges and chambers. You will guide teams, set technology roadmaps, and collaborate with government programs to validate range compliance.

Host organization emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional engineering collaboration, and advancing radar and sensor systems with modern test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range is required.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define, analyze, simulate, implement and evaluate requirements for ranges/chambers.
• Coordinate with chamber/range equipment and service suppliers; oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers.
