Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Wireless RF Engineer specializing in Antenna technology in Lansdale, PA. You will invent and lead design, development and testing of RF/Microwave antennas for defense and aerospace applications, collaborating with customers and senior leaders to deliver innovative solutions.

The role requires deep electromagnetics knowledge, measurement experience, and leadership in coordinating multi‑discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Fifteen, 15 years of experience in RF/Microwave Antenna design
• Fifteen, 15 years’ experience with RF measurements including VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Coupling, Pattern and Gain measurements, etc.
• Twelve, 12 years of experience in RF/Microwave Antenna design
• Twelve, 12 years’ experience with RF measurements including VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Coupling, Pattern and Gain measurements, etc.
• Eight, 8 years of experience operating PC using standard applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, etc.
• U.S. export control eligibility and requirement to be a U.S. Person for this role
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Invent, design and develop RF/Microwave antennas and/or array elements from 3 MHz to 110 GHz for narrow and wide band applications.
• Lead, design, analysis and test of antennas, hybrids and feed structures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support antenna products and subsystems.
• Document design elements and test procedures; support mechanical/R&M integration.
• Lead testing and evaluation of engineering hardware in a lab environment.
• Travel less than 10% to support across sites and customer meetings.
• Prepare and present customer meetings such as TIMs, PDRs, CDRs.
• Provide technical leadership in antenna capital needs and technical justifications.
