The Principal Analytics PreSales Architect Role

Are you ready for a role with diverse responsibilities, constant excitement, and the opportunity to work closely with our largest regional customers and partners?

As an Analytics PreSales Architect (APA) at Qlik, you'll be a key player in our Sales Organization, collaborating with various teams and staying at the forefront of the latest developments in the Data, Analytics, and AI market. If you thrive in a dynamic, agile work environment and are motivated by technical challenges, this position might be the perfect fit for you!

What makes this role interesting?
  • Act as the “backstop” for the Solution Architects and sales reps to come to for technical proofs, sizing and pricing conversations, integration questions, security conversations, etc.
  • Position proposed solutions to technical, end-users, operations, and senior management staff.
  • Stay informed about Qlik's latest product developments and competitors in the Data, Analytics & AI market. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, R&D, and Consulting teams.
  • Analyzing and sharing the trends and patterns of our successful customers, so that we can convert that knowledge into best practices.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
  • Technical Ownership: Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of technical relationships and the technical sales cycle.
  • Sales Qualification: Contribute to the technical qualification and closure of sales opportunities, predominantly involving Qlik's Data Integration, Automated Machine Learning, and AI platform. Collaborate with colleagues to address customers' data integration and governance requirements utilizing Qlik Talend Data Integration solutions.
  • Presales Activities: Engage in initiatives to boost regional revenue, delivering re-usable solutions for the field to consume and deploy.
  • Solution Positioning: Present potential solutions to stakeholders within the prospect's or Qlik partner's organization.
  • Proof-of-Concept Assistance: Assist (where needed) on Proof-of-Concepts to demonstrate the value of Qlik's solutions to potential customers.
  • Regional Business Development: Support regional business development activities, such as marketing events, trade shows, and partner events.
  • Internal Enablement and Content Creation: Create valuable content for our team and across teams. This could include writing white papers, community articles, customer success stories, etc.
  • Administering and maintaining Qlik Cloud tenants that are shared across Presales.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Presales, Consulting, or similar technical capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills to convince both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience in guiding a customer to healthy architectures that promote growth and adoption of Qlik solutions.
  • Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of developing relationships at technical, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprises.
  • Experience in BI, data visualization, and analytics. Proficient with cloud solutions like SaaS, PaaS, and iPaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of areas like Data Integration (ETL/ELT), Data Warehousing, APIs, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
  • Knowledge of automation software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex opportunities.
  • Previous experience with Data Integration products is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, .NET, and Python is beneficial.
  • A solid understanding of Machine Learning tools and Generative AI concepts is advantageous.
