Job summary

Prattwhitney in Goleta, CA seeks a Principal Analyst Data Manager to own contract data deliverables and maintain PDM data tracks. The role requires active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship, with extensive experience in data management, EVMS, and government standards.

You will coordinate with the Program Office, ensure deliverables meet milestones, and manage data from multiple suppliers while maintaining configuration control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years experience in absence of a degree.
  • 5 years professional experience in data management or related field.
  • Experience with government standards and processes such as EIA-649, GEIA-859, and configuration management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced degree + 3 years, or 9 years experience in absence of a degree.
  • Ability to interpret scheduling and milestone requirements.
  • Strong business acumen: planning, forecasting, analytical skills, negotiation, influence.
  • Team-based work experience with organizational and customer contacts.
  • Sense of urgency, ability to meet challenging deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building, collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Experience generating data management productivity metrics and reports.
  • Experience estimating, proposing, and managing data management cost and schedule on a program.
  • Experience with Windchill or similar PDM tools.
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification with relevant experience.
  • Active DOD clearance.
