Job summary

Archimetis seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead the architectural direction of our reasoning platform. You will own critical design decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure the system safely handles high-volume telemetry and real-time constraints.

You will work across AI, data, and industrial domain teams to build scalable, auditable, and secure agentic systems that operate within deterministic guardrails and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building multi-agent or agent-orchestrated systems.
• Strong Python expertise with emphasis on scalable software.
• Experience designing distributed systems with clear service boundaries and data flows.
• Ability to mentor engineers and own architectural decisions.
• Track record of delivering production-grade systems in industrial domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural direction for the reasoning platform.
• Coordinate across AI, data, and operations teams to ensure scalable design.
• Mentor engineers and promote strong engineering discipline.
• Balance velocity with technical debt and observability in production systems.
• Define and implement guardrails and validation for agentic components.
