Abrigo is seeking a Principal Applied AI Engineer to shape AI capabilities across our engineering organization. This hands-on technical leadership role will design and deliver production agent systems that combine models, retrieval, tools, and automation to reduce engineering toil.

You’ll mentor teams, establish reusable frameworks, and align with leadership to drive scalable architecture and governance that improves developer productivity and reliability.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering with technical leadership and production AI delivery.
• Production experience with LLM workflows or agentic automation, including tool calling and orchestration.
• Strong Python and backend engineering skills, and experience building APIs and integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and delivery for applied AI initiatives across Platform Engineering and product teams.
• Build reusable agent frameworks, tool interfaces, skills, and reference implementations.
• Design reliable workflows with state, recovery, and human approval where needed; ensure observability and security.
