Job summary

Teradata is seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer to lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable autonomous AI agents within our Enterprise AI platform. You’ll architect agent frameworks, memory, and orchestration at scale and collaborate with product and platform teams across cloud environments.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap, ensure observability and governance, and push safe, production-ready AI solutions that align with enterprise needs and regulatory

Qualifications

• Hands-on, deeply technical Principal Engineer to lead innovation in the Agentic AI space.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying intelligent agents that can reason and act autonomously at scale.
• Knowledge of AI architectures, secure governance, and enterprise deployment challenges.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement secure, scalable frameworks for autonomous AI agents.
• Define the technical roadmap for agent management from discovery to orchestration.
• Collaborate with researchers, platform engineers and product managers to productionize agentic capabilities.
• Ensure observability, governance and safety in production deployments.
