Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal AI Security Solutions Architect to define and drive technical strategy for secure AI adoption and AI-enabled security outcomes across North America.

You will collaborate with CISOs, Chief AI Officers, and enterprise architects to move generative AI and agentic systems into production, delivering reference architectures, decision frameworks, and governance models.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains (software, security, cloud, networking)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience influencing IT transformations toward cloud computing and security
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level
• Experience in security, AI, and cloud security domains

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year technical strategy for Security AI across the AGS Security & Networking SA Team.
• Advise senior customer leaders on security strategy for AI adoption and governance models.
• Lead complex customer engagements involving generative AI and agentic systems, including identity, data protection, and supply chain risks.
• Define architectures for applying AI to security workflows—detection, triage, investigation, and remediation.
• Turn recurring customer problems into repeatable field mechanisms and reference architectures.
