Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal AI Security Solutions Architect to define and drive technical strategy for secure AI adoption across North America. This role collaborates with CISOs, Chief AI Officers, security leaders, and enterprise architects to move generative AI into production with strong identity, data, and software supply chain controls.

The job involves cross-organizational influence, reference architectures, and measurable outcomes to reduce risk and optimize security

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software, cloud, security, networking, data and analytics
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level
Experience developing technology solutions and roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud
Experience in security, AI security, and data protection

Responsibilities

Own the multi-year technical strategy for Security AI across the AGS Security & Networking SA Team.
Advise senior customer leaders on security strategy for AI adoption with measurable outcomes.
Lead complex customer engagements involving generative AI and agentic systems and related security risks.
Define architectures for applying AI to security workflows including detection, triage, investigation, remediation and control validation.
Build reference architectures, frameworks, workshops, and field enablement mechanisms.
Gather customer evidence to influence product strategy, roadmaps, and service integration.
