Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal AI Security Solutions Architect to define and drive technical strategy for secure AI adoption and AI-enabled security outcomes across North America. You will work with CISOs, security leaders, and architects to move generative AI into production while preserving control over identities, data, and software supply chains.

• Experience shaping end-to-end technology roadmaps for IT transformations towards cloud.
• Ability to evangelize complex AI security architectures to diverse audiences.
• Strong track record in large-scale security strategy and customer guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year technical strategy for Security AI across the team and define success measures.
• Advise senior leaders on AI security strategy, governance models, and investment priorities.
• Lead complex engagements involving generative AI, agent identity, data protection, and runtime security.
• Define architectures for applying AI to security workflows: detection, triage, investigation, remediation.
• Create repeatable field mechanisms: reference architectures, assessments, and workshops.
• Establish outcome measures linking technical work to reduced risk and faster secure deployment.
• Build relationships across AWS security and AI teams and field communities.
• Gather customer evidence to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
• Develop executive and technical narratives on secure AI adoption for customers and AWS teams.
• Mentor and develop Principal-level talent within the SA community.
• Identify emerging security risks and drive cross-org resolution.
• Serve as escalation point for high-impact customer decisions.
