Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to lead security guidance for AI workloads on AWS.

You will shape long-term technical direction and collaborate with AWS service teams to embed security across the AI lifecycle. You will influence internal teams and external builders, publish guidance, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience in software, cloud, security, or data analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term technical direction for AI security architectural guidance aligned to AWS Well-Architected pillars.
• Serve as principal technical authority on securing AI architectures, including model security and data pipeline protection.
• Establish security standards, review mechanisms, and guardrails for the AI security guidance portfolio.
• Partner with AWS service teams to influence product direction based on security patterns observed in production AI workloads.
• Engage with strategic enterprise customers to validate guidance through real-world implementations.
• Own automation tooling and pipelines to accelerate creation and publication of AI security guidance at scale.
• Publish whitepapers and present at AWS events to establish AWS as an authority on securing Well-Architected AI workloads.
• Mentor senior architects and contribute to organizational strategy and workforce planning.
• Design repeatable security review processes and threat modeling for AI workloads.
• Validate guidance through prototyping, PoCs, threat modeling exercises, and secure code samples.
