Thomson Reuters is seeking a Principal Software Engineer / Architect – AI to join our CoCounsel Forward Deployed Engineering organization. You will work directly with customers to design and build production AI solutions, guiding architecture while actively contributing to production code.

You will lead complex engagements, translate customer needs into scalable product capabilities, and mentor engineers, shaping how enterprise AI is deployed securely.

Qualificações

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise settings.
• Hands-on leadership including writing, reviewing, and debugging production code.
• Deep experience designing and delivering complex production software systems.
• Significant AI/ML exposure, including Generative AI or LLM-powered systems.
• Experience architecting AI solutions that integrate with enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Ability to translate customer needs into reusable product capabilities with Product.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex customer engagements from discovery to deployment, while remaining technically involved.
• Design, build, and deploy production AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Set architectural direction across AI, distributed systems, security, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
• Communicate decisions clearly to engineers, executives, and customers.
