Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a visionary and hands-on Principal Product Manager to lead Vertical AI initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Finance. You will craft high-value AI-driven workflows, blending classical product management with AI-native speed and rapid prototyping to prove concepts.

You will combine rigorous product management with AI capabilities, focusing on high-impact use cases, feasibility, and economics to strengthen the company’s bottom line.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Product Management or 8+ with Master’s or 5+ with PhD.
• Hands-on with prototypes using generative AI tools and no-/low-code platforms.
• SDLC and Agile/Scrum experience with backlog grooming and user stories.
• Deep understanding of LLM capabilities, context windows, latency, and RAG vs fine-tuning.
• Experience conducting Voice of Customer interviews in complex B2B environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a 12-month AI product roadmap with epics.
• Liaise between engineering and business leaders, translating AI concepts into business terms.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and change management plans, with training materials.
• Prototype AI solutions using AI-native tools to validate concepts before full build.
• Use prompt engineering to test feasibility and select viable concepts for the roadmap.
• Define and own the PRD with standards like Error Budgets and Golden Sets.
• Create, curate, and version-control the Golden Set for model validation.
