Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead AI-enabled development across a portfolio of products within the CDAO AI/ML Data Platforms Team. You will guide architecture, drive production code capabilities, and govern secure, scalable workflows across agile groups.

You will influence senior leaders, champion responsible AI, and ensure operations run smoothly 24x7 while delivering trusted market-leading technology products.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Rust, Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices using enterprise tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, and governance.
• Proven track record building and operating 24x7 online services.
• Ability to influence senior technical leaders and manage key stakeholders.
• Extensive cloud-native experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
