Job summary

Seeq is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to define and scale backend platforms and AI systems for its analytics applications. You will lead cross-team initiatives, design agentic architectures, and drive production deployments with a strong emphasis on reliability and observability.

This deeply hands-on role requires advanced Python backend skills, distributed systems experience, and a track record of shipping AI-enabled capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience at Staff level or equivalent.
• Recent focus on generative AI or agentic systems with production impact.
• Proven leadership of complex AI/platform initiatives from concept to production.
• Hands-on experience building and operating agentic systems and runtimes.
• Deep Python backend engineering for large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience designing shared platform services and APIs used by multiple teams.
• Experience with AI/LLM frameworks and observability for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for backend and AI platform capabilities.
• Lead high-impact AI and platform initiatives from concept to production.
• Architect agentic systems including routing, tooling, and sandboxing.
• Build shared platform infrastructure and backend services for AI workloads.
• Develop reliable distributed systems and data-intensive workflows.
• Create reusable AI platform capabilities for multiple teams.
• Establish evaluation and observability for AI-enabled systems.
• Design system integrations with internal and third-party platforms.
• Drive ideas to production and stay close to customer deployments.
• Mentor engineers and promote architectural excellence.
