Job summary

Seeq is seeking a high-impact staff-level engineer to shape and evolve its data analytics platform end-to-end. You will drive front-end (React/TypeScript) and back-end (JVM) work, collaborating with product and UX teams to deliver robust features across the stack.

You’ll mentor peers, push for testing and CI, and explore AI-enabled approaches to accelerate software delivery. This role is remote-first, with a strong emphasis on impact and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE or equivalent.
• 6+ years for Staff; 10+ years for Principal with track record designing and evolving complex software.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns and best practices.
• Expertise in one or more backend JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Expertise building large frontend apps with React or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of features spanning the full stack from frontend to backend.
• Collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering to deliver high-quality software.
• Own features end-to-end and mentor junior engineers.
• Introduce new technologies and AI-driven approaches to accelerate outcomes.
