Veeva Systems is building a new AI-driven platform for life sciences, with a founding team shaping the codebase and engineering culture from the ground up. You will lead feature ownership, design systems, and mentor others as the product scales to live customers within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The role demands seasoned software engineering expertise, enterprise SaaS leadership, and strong communication in English, with unrestricted right to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of proven software development expertise (Production level Python development required).
• Extensive experience developing high-scale enterprise SaaS cloud applications.
• Proven track record of architecting and building high-volume products at scale.
• Hands-on development with Python, Git, FastAPI, Pydantic.
• Fast-paced startup environment with strong engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own all stages of feature implementation from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Product Management on technical design and problem-solving.
• Quickly analyze complex problems to accelerate robust solutions.
• Define and mentor on engineering best practices, including AI-assisted engineering.
• Provide comprehensive code reviews for engineers of all levels.
• Develop the skills of engineering talent through mentorship.
