Job summary

Invesco seeks a Principal AI Platform Infrastructure Architect to define the enterprise architecture for agentic infrastructure, including orchestration, identity, gateway, policy services, and model hosting. The role is individual-contributor, hands-on in prototyping and validating patterns before enterprise adoption.

You will lead architecture decisions across programs, establish standards, and mentor teams while aligning with risk, cost, and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• Experience owning architecture decisions for complex infrastructure initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on design/validation of infrastructure for agentic AI platforms.
• Broad infrastructure architecture with depth in cloud, security, networking, or platform engineering.
• Ability to translate validated findings into reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC, automated tests and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for agentic infrastructure.
• Lead architecture decisions across programs, advising senior leaders and managing tradeoffs.
• Establish standards for security, resilience, observability, and cost management.
• Architect multi-domain initiatives and document technical decisions and dependencies.
• Build prototypes and references to validate patterns for production use.
• Define readiness and lifecycle requirements for shared infrastructure patterns.
• Guide teams in adopting patterns that reduce duplication and accelerate delivery.
• Mentor architects through reviews, guidance, and reusable examples.
