Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Principal AI Platform Infrastructure Architect to define the enterprise architecture for agentic infrastructure, including orchestration, identity, gateways, policy services, and model hosting. You will stay hands-on while guiding architects and engineers in adopting scalable patterns across programs.

This role requires leading architecture decisions, validating patterns with prototypes, and ensuring security, observability, and cost objectives align with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Experience owning architecture decisions for complex infrastructure initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on design/validation of infrastructure for agentic AI platforms.
• Broad infra architecture experience across cloud, security, networking, compute, or platform engineering.
• Ability to translate validated findings into reference architectures and patterns.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for agentic infrastructure.
• Lead architecture decisions across programs, advising senior leaders.
• Set architecture standards for security, resilience, and cost management.
• Architect multi-domain agentic initiatives and document tradeoffs.
• Build prototypes and reference implementations for new patterns.
• Define operational readiness and lifecycle requirements for patterns.
• Guide teams in adopting shared patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Mentor architects through reviews and reusable examples.
• Evaluate emergent AI infrastructure technologies and publish recommendations.
