Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Principal AI Platform Infrastructure Architect to own the enterprise architecture strategy for agentic infrastructure, including orchestration, identity, gateways, and model hosting. This individual-contributor role sets technical direction while remaining hands-on in prototyping and validation before enterprise adoption.

You will define the architecture roadmap, lead multi-domain decisions, establish standards, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience owning architecture decisions for complex infrastructure initiatives.
• Hands-on experience designing or validating infrastructure for agentic AI platforms.
• Broad infrastructure architecture experience in cloud, security/identity, networking or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap and reference architectures for agent orchestration, identity, gateway, policy services, and model hosting.
• Lead architect decisions across programs while advising senior leaders and resolving escalations.
• Establish architecture standards for security, resilience, observability, performance, and cost management.
