Job summary

New Relic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own AI Observability from vision through GA and beyond. You will drive the roadmap, collaborate with enterprise customers, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities.

You will test ideas with prototypes, influence pricing and packaging, and represent strategic priorities to executives while ensuring safe, scalable deployment at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience including ownership from vision through GA and post‑GA growth.
• Experience driving outcomes across teams without formal management authority.
• Direct enterprise customer partnerships in production AI or LLM systems with governance and scale considerations.
• Regular use of multiple AI agents in your own work with a verification process you trust.
• Experience presenting product area strategy in executive settings.
• A demonstrable track record of shipping, prototyping, evaluating, and GTM work across the backlog.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Observability roadmap and business outcomes tracks (adoption, retention, expansion).
• Lead multiple engineering and design teams toward a coherent product vision without formal authority.
• Partner with enterprise customers’ platform and infra teams to operationalize AI safely and translate scale‑issues into requirements.
• Build working prototypes using agentic AI workflows to pressure‑test ideas before committing engineering time.
• Represent AI Observability in executive strategy and prioritization decisions, balancing trade‑offs.
• Ship to GA and continue iterating: adjust pricing, packaging and the next wave of features requested by GA customers.
