Job summary

New Relic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own AI Observability from vision through GA and beyond. You will lead cross‑functional teams, partner with enterprise customers, and build prototypes using agentic AI workflows to ensure scalable, safe AI deployment at scale.

The role emphasizes driving adoption, retention, and expansion, with a focus on pricing, packaging, and feature strategy after GA. A strong track record in executive-facing prioritization is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience from early vision through GA and post-GA growth.
• Senior IC who drives outcomes across teams without formal management authority.
• Experience partnering with enterprise customers on production AI or LLM systems at scale.
• Regular use of multiple concurrent AI agents with a verification process you trust.
• Experience representing a product area in executive-level strategy discussions.
• Ability to translate feedback into product requirements quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Observability roadmap and business outcomes (adoption, retention, expansion).
• Drive multiple engineering and design teams toward a coherent product vision without formal authority.
• Partner with strategic enterprise customers to operationalize AI safely and translate scale feedback into requirements.
• Build prototypes using agentic AI workflows to pressure-test ideas before engineering time.
• Represent AI Observability in executive strategy and prioritization decisions.
• Ship to GA and iterate: pricing, packaging, and new features post-GA.
