Job summary

New Relic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for AI Observability to own the roadmap and drive business outcomes across adoption, retention, and expansion. You will lead multiple teams to realize a cohesive product vision and work directly with strategic enterprise customers to operationalize AI at scale.

You will prototype with agentic AI workflows, influence pricing strategy, and represent the product area in executive strategy discussions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with ownership from vision to GA and growth.
• Experience working as a senior IC driving outcomes across teams without formal management authority.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with enterprise customers on production AI/LLM systems.
• Regular use of multiple concurrent AI agents in work with a verification process you trust.
• Experience representing a product area in executive strategy discussions.
• We value practical, hands-on work across specs, prototypes, evaluation, and go-to-market efforts.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Observability roadmap and business outcomes tracks (adoption, retention, expansion).
• Drive several engineering and design teams toward a shared vision without formal authority.
• Partner with enterprise customers to operationalize AI safely and translate scale issues into product requirements.
• Build working prototypes using agentic AI workflows to pressure-test ideas before heavy engineering time.
• Represent AI Observability in executive prioritization decisions and manage trade-offs.
• Ship to GA and iterate on pricing, packaging, and future features requested by GA customers.
