Job summary

IFS is seeking a Principal AI/Mobile Engineer for its Aerospace & Defense business. You will lead the technical direction across product groups, embedding AI into mobile maintenance solutions and coordinating with customers in hybrid environments.

The role demands hands-on AI development, end-to-end delivery ownership, and the ability to mentor teams while shaping architecture and strategy in real customer contexts.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience building products with AI, including ML integration and MLOps.
• Strong mobile engineering track record; native iOS is strongly preferred.
• Principal-level impact, driving strategy and delivery across teams.
• Experience deploying enterprise software in customer environments (ERP/CRM/IoT).
• Excellent communication and leadership with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape next-generation mobility solution for aviation maintenance.
• Design and ship AI-powered capabilities, including model integration and RAG.
• Embed AI-assisted development as core engineering practice.
• Deploy with customers, integrating with ERP/CRM/IoT in their environment.
• Own end-to-end delivery across design, development, testing, and operations.
• Lead as a Principal, setting architectural directions and mentoring engineers.
• Anchor decisions to customer value and real-world constraints.
