Job summary

Boeing, through Spirit AeroSystems, seeks an experienced AI Delivery Lead to own end-to-end AI initiatives from scoping to production. You will partner with architecture, engineering, and security to drive scalable AI solutions and lead cross-functional teams across data science, infrastructure, and business units.

The role requires strong stakeholder communication, a track record delivering AI-enabled programs, and comfort operating in ambiguity to move work forward with incomplete information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6-9 years’ related experience with a Bachelor's, or 4-7 years with a Master's.
• Experience leading delivery of complex technology, data, analytics, or AI initiatives from requirements through production deployment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI or ML-enabled products or programs in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to manage scope, dependencies, risks, budgets, and executive expectations across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience with cloud-based data and AI platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Strong ability to build credibility and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and capable of moving work forward without complete information.
• Clear, concise communicator in written and verbal settings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, from scoping through production launch and post-launch evaluation.
• Establish delivery standards, operating rhythms, and performance measures to improve predictability and reduce risk.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, and security to drive decisions for AI solutions.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with business stakeholders, data science, engineering, infrastructure, and security.
• Conduct discovery with business partners to assess feasibility, define priorities, and set expectations before development.
• Assess when AI is appropriate and communicate rationale across stakeholder levels.
• Build delivery plans accounting for data readiness, model performance, and integration complexity.
• Surface risks early, manage trade-offs, and drive decisions when needed.
• Monitor post-launch outcomes and guide iterations to deliver value.
• Lead and develop AI delivery resources with direction and accountability.
