Job summary

Teradata is seeking a seasoned engineer to design and deploy autonomous AI agents at scale within our data and AI platform. You will blend research with production, building runtimes, and governance components to enable trustworthy agentic systems across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with AI researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to push Teradata’s capabilities from concept to production, driving measurable business value for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing autonomous AI agents at scale.
• Experience with agent-based architectures and runtime components.
• Experience implementing governance, safety, and compliance in agentic AI environments.
• Ability to partner effectively with product leaders, architects, and platform teams to define enterprise-grade AI capabilities.
• Strong technical ability with intelligent automation, generative AI, and agentic system design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous AI systems enabling enterprise-scale agentic tech.
• Lead scalable, secure, cloud-native frameworks for AI agents to reason and act.
• Create runtime components and automation powering GenAI and agentic solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers, platform teams, and leadership to productionize agentic capabilities.
• Enable customers to leverage safe, resilient AI agents that deliver measurable value.
