Job summary

Teradata seeks an experienced AI engineer to design and deploy autonomous AI agents at scale within our data and AI platform. You will collaborate with researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to bring agentic capabilities from concept to production.

You will specialize in memory management, context handling, observability, and safe, governance-focused AI tooling across cloud-native environments. Excellent collaboration and Python skills required.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Strong Python skills with backend/AI infra experience.
• Experience with agent development and LLM integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous AI agents at scale.
• Lead scalable, secure, cloud-native frameworks for agent reasoning and action.
• Create runtime components and automation for GenAI/Agentic AI solutions.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to deploy capabilities to production.
• Enable customers to leverage safe, governed AI agents delivering measurable value.
