Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Principal Engineer, Quality to lead our Quality Engineering strategy for AI-powered testing and automation. You will architect scalable testing frameworks, mentor teams, and drive innovations across multiple Agile streams.

You will champion AI-driven testing, integrate LLM-based automation into CI/CD, and define governance around model reliability, data privacy, and risk, while elevating QE as a center of excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and deploying AI/ML or generative AI systems in a testing environment.
• 7+ years of Quality Engineering with automation expertise.
• Strong communication across diverse teams and ability to influence initiatives.
• Fluency with LLMs, agentic architectures and related APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor organization-wide test automation efforts with scalability.
• Develop test strategies for multiple teams focusing on automation.
• Drive modern testing methodologies and shift testing left.
• Develop and report key quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Design and build testing infrastructure and CI/CD integrations.
• Manage bug triage and oversee defect resolution.
• Evaluate new tools to enhance automation productivity.
• Contribute to AI engineering roadmap and QE governance.
• Architect and productionize AI-driven testing systems and autonomous test gen.
• Integrate LLM- and agent-based systems into CI/CD QE workflows.
• Define governance for AI adoption in testing — risk and privacy.
• Upskill the engineering org on AI-augmented quality practices.
