Job summary

Spring Health seeks a senior leader to define and execute our AI-native Quality Engineering strategy, embedding quality across the AI SDLC. You will build autonomous testing, eval harnesses, and model validation, partnering with Security, Privacy, Clinical, and AI teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead distributed QE teams, drive measurable improvements in test coverage, and accelerate delivery with trustworthy AI-enabled quality practices across our products

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and scaling quality engineering in high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in modern test automation architectures at scale.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML testing systems and eval harnesses.
• Experience deploying AI agents into the SDLC for testing.
• Shift-left transformation and quality ownership across platforms.
• Regulated domain experience (HIPAA/SOC2) and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a distributed Quality Engineering organization across multiple teams.
• Define, instrument, and report engineering quality metrics to leadership and Board.
• Build modern testing frameworks for AI-powered products and LLM features.
• Drive adoption of AI agents for test generation, regression testing, and release readiness.
• Ensure testing practices meet regulatory, security, and PHI-safe data requirements.
