AT&T is seeking a highly independent Principal Software Engineer based in Plano, TX to design, develop, and operate large-scale broadband device management platforms. You will own end-to-end architecture across development, deployment, and production operations, with deep expertise in TR-069 and TR-369.

Strong AI integration across the lifecycle is expected. You will design scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS, lead platform evolution, build APIs and microservices, and collaborate across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in broadband device management technologies (TR-069, TR-369).
• Hands-on development with Java and/or Python.
• Experience developing cloud-native apps in AWS.
• Kubernetes, containers, microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
