Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Principal Engineer, Commercial AI Forward Deployment to lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions across a business domain. You will own requirements, architect integrations, and mentor FDEs, delivering ROI-focused results.

In a hybrid office-based role, you’ll collaborate with TPMs and BU stakeholders, scale production AI systems, ensure data governance, and drive responsible AI practices while reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, Data Science or related technical field; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of production engineering, including 3+ years delivering LLM-based agentic systems.
• Experience translating business needs into technical delivery within TPM-driven requirements.

Responsibilities

• Domain Ownership & BU Relationship: full lifecycle ownership of net-new agentic AI delivery within the domain.
• Agentic System Delivery & Iteration: design and deliver net-new agentic AI solutions in live environments.
• System Integration & Data Engineering: build integration layers connecting AI to BU tools and data sources.
• FDE Practice Leadership: mentor FDEs, contribute to practice standards and reports.
• Strategic AI Delivery & Responsible AI: ensure AI safety, data privacy, and governance compliance.
