Job summary

You will lead architecture, guide AI enablement, and ensure secure, cost-aware development while delivering high-impact production code. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and mentoring across teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, backend system architecture
• Strong object oriented programming foundation, modular and scalable design
• Experience building and operating large scale data platforms and data-driven apps
• Deep experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs at scale
• Hands-on with distributed data processing and streaming architectures
• Experience with LLM integration and AI patterns
• Cloud-native environment experience with modern CI/CD practices
• Ability to influence architectural direction across domains
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field; Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term technical strategy for backend and AI services
• Translate business priorities into scalable backend and AI architectures
• Shape data platforms and API surfaces for multiple front-end experiences
• Lead production-grade AI system design including LLM integration and RAG pipelines
• Establish data modeling standards across domains for scalability and maintainability
• Partner with product/engineering to convert opportunities into robust systems
• Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering and AI standards
