Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a visionary Principal AI Agent Engineer to architect enterprise-scale multi-agent systems that span the Gas Services value chain.

You will define the AI Agent Factory’s reference architectures and lead a small elite team, shipping at global enterprise scale. You’ll translate cutting-edge agentic AI research into production-grade agents and fine-tuned LLMs, while mentoring engineers and communicating strategy to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an applicable technical field.
• 5+ years of production AI/ML experience.
• 3+ years designing and shipping multi-agent or complex LLM-based systems at scale.
• Proven track record at a top-tier technology consulting or big tech company (e.g., Deloitte/Accenture/Google/Meta/Oracle/Amazon/Apple/Microsoft).
• Hands-on LLM fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA) and custom orchestration.
• Experience with LangGraph and AutoGen.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Comfortable operating across time zones with European partners (UTC−2 to UTC+2 overlap preferred).

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale multi-agent systems coordinating across multiple business functions.
• Define the technical vision and reference architectures for the AI Agent Factory.
• Design robust coordination protocols for reliable production multi-agent operation.
• Translate research into production-grade systems with code-first implementations and fine-tuned LLMs.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers to uphold engineering excellence and a code-first culture.
• Communicate technical strategy to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
