Job summary

System One seeks an experienced Enterprise AI Architect to lead AI initiatives in a heavily regulated financial services environment. You will drive architecture for Generative AI, Agentic AI and multi-agent solutions from concept to production, with emphasis on AWS, governance, security and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience with Generative AI and production AI.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI agents, multi-agent systems, orchestration, memory and retrieval.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native tech experience for scalable enterprise apps.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise APIs, apps, workflows, identity services and data stores.
• Understanding AI governance, Responsible AI, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with RAG, semantic search, metadata and data lineage concepts.
• Production AI practices: evaluation, observability, monitoring, lifecycle management, resiliency.
• Knowledge of containers, event-driven systems, API management, IAM, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to create reference architectures and roadmaps; communicate with engineers, product and execs.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and Spec Driven Development (SDD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture for Generative AI, Agentic AI, and multi-agent solutions.
• Define reusable AI architecture patterns, standards, and reference architectures.
• Establish patterns for AI agent orchestration, memory, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Guide secure integration of AI with enterprise APIs, applications, workflow platforms, identity services, and data sources.
• Incorporate security, privacy, regulatory compliance, Responsible AI, auditability and guardrails.
• Provide architecture leadership and technical guidance across engineering and product teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, evaluate tradeoffs, and help teams resolve complex challenges.
• Support production AI capabilities including evaluation, observability, resiliency, and lifecycle management.
• Translate business objectives into AI technology roadmaps for technical and executive stakeholders.
