CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Principal Software Engineer focused on Emerging Technology & AI in a remote, US-wide role. You will design prototypes, assess AI platforms, and drive scalable solutions with engineering and business partners.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical standards, and partner with architecture to guide enterprise adoption. Remote-first culture supports work from home with occasional in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Knowledge of cloud-native services and enterprise patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for experiments, prototypes and pilots.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical execution while remaining hands-on.
• Evaluate platforms, APIs, and AI frameworks for enterprise use cases.
• Collaborate with EA and delivery teams to enable scalable solutions.
