Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Spring House, PA (preferred) or Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ, seeks a Principal Agentic Workflow & AI Engineer (Biologics Discovery data engine). You will design and build agentic workflows, orchestrate real-time pipelines, and connect automation software, data stores, models, and compute for closed-loop AI-enabled discovery.

Lead cross-functional efforts, mentor teammates, and push for scalable, production-grade AI solutions across DMTL, lab automation, and data

Qualifications

PhD preferred in CS/Engineering/computational field.
3+ years building scientific workflow orchestration/automation, including agentic workflows and technical leadership.
Hands-on real-time/near-real-time pipelines integrating heterogeneous scientific outputs.
Experience applying agentic AI/LLM-based agents to scientific/lab workflows.

Responsibilities

Design/configure/improve agentic workflows for biologics secondary analysis; replace fragile manual steps.
Build/oversee real-time pipelines across automation, data stores, models, and compute.
Implement resilient APIs, observability, versioning, and workflow orchestration.
Extend shared GenAI platforms/agentic frameworks for biologics discovery.
Ensure semantically consistent, reusable, production-deployable data.
Optimize for AI-driven closed-loop learning across DMTL; ensure high-quality, traceable data.
Set standards; pilot emerging agentic AI methods; represent work in technical forums.
